Refund and Returns Policy

1. General Policy

At Renowned Finishing, we want our clients to be 100% satisfied. While many of our services are custom and not eligible for returns, we do offer refunds or exchanges in select cases.

2. Product Refunds (e.g. Hardware Store)

We accept returns on unused hardware items within 14 days of delivery.

Conditions:

  • Must be in original packaging

  • No signs of wear or installation

  • Proof of purchase required

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method after inspection.

Exceptions:

  • Custom or special-order items are non-refundable

  • Discounted or clearance items are final sale

3. Service Refunds

Since our refinishing and installation work is service-based and often customized, refunds are generally not issued once the work begins.

However, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund if:

  • The project is canceled before work starts

  • A material or service defect is verified

  • We fail to meet agreed-upon quality standards

Refund requests must be made in writing within 7 days of service completion.

4. Refund Process

To initiate a return or refund:

  1. Contact our customer service at support@renownedfinishing.com

  2. Provide proof of purchase and reason for refund

  3. We may ask for photos or additional details

  4. You will be notified of approval/rejection within 5 business days

  5. Approved refunds are processed within 3–7 business days

5. Shipping and Restocking

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping unless the product is defective

  • A 10% restocking fee may apply to certain items

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless we made an error

6. Exchanges

If you received a defective or incorrect product, we’ll gladly send a replacement at no extra cost. Email support within 72 hours of delivery.
